GETTING THERE
WITH YOUR OWN VEHICLE
Bad Kissingen can be easily reached with your own vehicle via highways A7 (Würzburg – Kassel) and A71 (Erfurt – Schweinfurt). Bad Kissingen is only about 10 minutes away from the highway exits.
BY TRAIN
From the ICE train stations in Würzburg and Fulda you can take regional trains via Schweinfurt or Bad Brückenau to Bad Kissingen.
From the Bad Kissingen train station, you can take our free shuttle bus (see “Bus Shuttle”) or a taxi (see “Other Means of Transport”) to get to the exhibition grounds.
BY PLANE
From the international airports Frankfurt / Main, Nuremberg or Erfurt you can reach Bad Kissingen after approx. 90 minutes by car (see point “With your own vehicle”) or by train (see point “By train”).
You would like to travel to Bad Kissingen with your own plane? No problem, the airfield in der Au in Bad Kissingen is looking forward to your landing.
Right next to the airfield you can then conveniently board the free shuttle bus to the expo.
BUSSHUTTLE
As in previous years, we are offering trade fair visitors a free bus shuttle from the visitor’s parking lots and from the CAMP AREA to the exhibition grounds. This is the only motorized possibility of traveling to the exhibition grounds (besides going by taxi), which has perfectly proven itself in recent years. The shuttle buses are commuting constantly.

SPECIAL SHUTTLE
As a special service, in 2025 we will again be offering a free extra shuttle for people with handicap.
This service is extended by the (chargeable) transport of bulky goods, which are purchased at the ABENTEUER & ALLRAD show.
We count on your understanding that the special shuttle can only be used for transports between the exhibition grounds and the visitor parking lot / the CAMP AREA.
OTHER MEANS OF TRANSPORT
Of course, you also have the option of taking a taxi to the exhibition grounds. Taxis are allowed to drive directly to the exhibition grounds at any time.
You can also get to the entrance of the exhibition grounds by bike. A limited number of bike racks are available there, as you are not allowed to take your bike with you to the exhibition area.
If you want to walk to the exhibition grounds, this is of course possible. Please note, however, that from the city you have a walk of about 6 km ahead of you, with the path steadily climbing.
BY BIKE
You are also welcome to cycle to the exhibition centre. Please note that some of the roads used by the buses are narrow and confusing.
You are therefore welcome to use the route via Reiterswiesen to reach the entrance to the exhibition centre safely.
A limited number of bicycle stands are available there. Bicycles may not be taken onto the exhibition grounds.
SURROUNDINGS
With their visits, famous personalities from history such as Empress Elisabeth of Austria, Ludwig I, King of Bavaria, Chancellor Otto von Bismarck and writer Theodor Fontane once established Bad Kissingen's reputation as a “world spa”. Today the spa town offers all amenities in terms of culture, excursion destinations as well as gastronomy and hotels.
