FAQ
Questions on how to find us
How can I get to the visitor parking lots?
For ABENTEUER & ALLRAD we rent areas that are designated as free visitor parking spaces.
To avoid unnecessary traffic jams, please use the exit Bad Kissingen/Oberthulba coming from the A7, then drive towards Bad Kissingen and follow the signs! Please DO NOT use your navigation system.
If you are coming via the A71, please use the exit Bad Kissingen/Oerlenbach and then drive towards Bad Kissingen and follow the signs! Please DO NOT use your navigation system for the approach!
Our CAMP-AREA does NOT provide any parking space for day visitors.

How can I get to the fairground?
Unfortunately a direct approach to the fairground is not possible! The fairground is located within a nature reserve, therefore the access roads are strictly controlled. There is no possibility for visitors to get to the fairground with their own vehicle. Please note that parking on the access roads and in the nature reserve is also prohibited and punishable by severe fines.
Please follow the signs to the parking lots for day visitors or to the CAMP-AREA. From there, free shuttle buses will take you to the entrance of the exhibition grounds and back again.
Where do the free shuttle busses depart?
Our shuttle buses run permanently on three different lines with the following stops during the opening hours of the trade fair:
Line 1:
Visitorparking P1 - In der Au, Airfield
City Centre - Ludwigsbrücke
KNAUS Campingpark - Bismarckstraße
Line 2:
Visitorparking P2 - Kasernenstraße
Line 3:
Bad Kissingen railway station - Friedrich-Ebert-Straße
CAMP AREA 1 - 2 - Würzburger-Straße
CAMP AREA 3 - 4 - Iringstraße - B286 Arnshausen
Of course you can also take one of the free shuttle buses if you are staying in a hotel/guesthouse in Bad Kissingen.
In any case, please note which direction you have to take when travelling home. The buses are signposted at the trade fair exit with the directions CAMP AREA or visitor car park.
Is there an extra service for wheelchair users?
For wheelchair users hungry for adventure, we have a special shuttle available free of charge. This shuttle will pick you up at the parking lot for day visitors or at our CAMP-AREA and take you directly to the entrance of the exhibition grounds (please understand that there are no other means of entry).
Assistance with getting in and out of the car as well as loading the wheelchair is a matter of course and does not require a separate request.
You can reach us during the fair days under the mobile number +49 160 97006866 in the time from 09:30 - 18:30.
Pre-reservations for rides are unfortunately not possible.
Occasionally there may be waiting times due to a high demand for extra rides. We ask for your understanding.
How can I get to the fairground from the train station?
Since 2015, the free shuttle bus from the direction of the exhibition grounds to CAMP AREA also stops at the bus station of the Bad Kissingen train station. Via the stop at CAMP AREA, the bus will then return to the exhibition grounds.
The shuttle buses commute permanently, but at peak times waiting times cannot be avoided. If you do not want to take the shuttle bus, you can order a cab (for a fee). Cabs are also allowed to drive directly to the entrance of the fair. You can reach the cab center at the following number: +49 971 12 15
Is it possible to walk to the fairground?
Sure you can.
But please note that you have a walk of about 6 km (from the train station) ahead of you. The path is not to be underestimated, as it goes steadily uphill. You will also walk through a nature reserve. Please follow the appropriate regulations.
How do I get back to my car or to the city?
At the exit of the fair you will find the buses to the parking lot for day visitors or to the CAMP AREA (via train station). The two buses stop next to each other. Please pay attention to the direction of the bus when entering the parking lot.
If you got on the wrong bus, you will have to take a "lap of honor" to the fairground. The "wrong" bus cannot take you in the opposite direction.
Please note that the last bus to the parking lot for day visitors or to the CAMP-AREA (via train station) leaves about 20 - 30 minutes after the end of the fair - Thursday to Saturday at about 18:20, Sunday at about 17:20. Please understand that you will have to leave the exhibition grounds at the end of the fair (DO-SA 18:00 h, SO 17:00 h) and therefore no later buses will be available.
Questions about the expo in general
Where can I buy tickets ?
Tickets are expected to go on sale from spring 2025.
Tickets can only be purchased in advance via our shop website.
Of course, you can also purchase tickets at the box office at the exhibition centre or in the CAMP AREA.
At what age do children have to pay admission?
Children up to the age of 8 have free admission to ABENTEUER & ALLRAD.
Can I bring my dog to the show?
Basically you may bring your dog with you (with the exception of breeds declared as fighting dogs in Bavaria).
BUT - we are dog owners ourselves and therefore strongly advise you from experience not to bring your four-legged darling. Very few dogs will enjoy driving the bus at rush hour and walking around the fairground between countless legs. Furthermore, many exhibits may not be visited with a dog. Especially in very hot weather, you really don't do your dog any favors if you take him with you.
If it cannot be avoided, please observe the following instructions as well as the house and grounds rules:
- Dogs must always be kept on a short leash in the exhibition center (no rolling leash)
- Exhibitors and other visitors must not feel disturbed by the dog(s)
- if necessary the dog must wear a muzzle
- Dog excrement must be disposed of by the dog owner - you will find bags for this purpose at the entrance to the exhibition grounds, at the coffee bar and in the C-area
- make sure that the dog has sufficient fresh drinking water and a quiet, shady place to rest at regular intervals
Is there WLAN on the exhibition grounds?
We offer our visitors free WLAN.
For this, please search for the network "AA Visitors" in your WLAN settings. Then follow the further description.
How is the entry regulated?
Admission for visitors is from 10:00 am on the days of the fair. The last admission is granted 1 hour before the end of the fair - Thursday to Saturday until 17:00 h, on Sunday until 16:00 h.
Do you already have an admission ticket / a permanent band?
Visitors who have already purchased an entrance ticket/a permanent band in our SHOP or at the cash desk on the CAMP-AREA please use the left entrance until 12:00 o'clock. If you arrive later at ABENTEUER & ALLRAD, please pay attention to the signs and use the entrance via the cash desks (right entrance).
You don't have an entrance ticket / no permanent band or you have received a guest ticket?
Visitors who have not yet purchased an admission ticket or a permanent band should use the entrance to the box offices (right entrance).
The same applies to visitors who have received a guest ticket or a letter of invitation from an exhibitor. These must be exchanged for a regular day ticket at the ticket office.
The exchange of guest tickets is always free of charge.
Exhibitors who provide their customers with their own invitation letters instead of guest tickets must notify us in advance. If you have received an invitation letter from an exhibitor who has not registered this with us, it cannot be exchanged free of charge. In this case, you must pay the entrance fee yourself and, if necessary, obtain a refund of the entrance fee directly from the exhibitor.
Have you purchased a ticket for one of the lectures?
If you have ordered a ticket for one of our lectures at the SHOP in advance, you have also been informed that this lecture ticket can ONLY be used in conjunction with a valid ticket for ABENTEUER & ALLRAD for the day in question. The lecture ticket alone does not entitle you to enter the exhibition grounds. If you have not already purchased an admission ticket with your lecture ticket, you can buy it on site at the box office. You will then need the lecture ticket to enter the lecture hall (Hall 3).
Can I enter the exhibition grounds several times in one day?
Whether you would like to take your dog for a walk around the exhibition grounds or have forgotten something in your vehicle in the parking lot for day visitors - there are many reasons why you would like to leave the exhibition grounds for a short time.
If you are the holder of a season ticket, you may leave and re-enter the exhibition grounds as often as you like during the opening hours of the fair (last admission: 1 hour before the end of the fair).
If you have purchased a day ticket, you must visit our staff at the ticket office (entrance) BEFORE leaving the exhibition grounds. They will make an appropriate note on your already validated ticket so that you can enter the grounds again on the same day (last admission: 1 hour before the end of the fair). Without this note, re-entry is unfortunately not possible. In addition, the re-entry is not valid for one of the following days.
Is there a lost and found office or what to do in case of theft?
If you have lost valuables or personal belongings, please enquire in our exhibition office tent at the exhibition exit. Our lost and found office is also located there. Our staff will note your name, address and telephone number if the item you are looking for has not yet been handed in, and will contact you if it has been handed in.
If you find valuables or personal belongings on the exhibition grounds, please return them to the lost and found office in the exhibition office tent at the exhibition exit.
If you notice a theft, please contact the local police inspection directly. You will find the Bad Kissingen Police Inspectorate at Kasernenstraße 6, 97688 Bad Kissingen - near the parking lots for day visitors. You can reach the police inspection by phone at the following number: +49 (0)971 71490
I just want to assist to a lecture. Do I still need an admission ticket?
Since the lecture hall (Hall 3) is located in the middle of the exhibition grounds, a trade fair admission ticket valid for the same day is required in addition to the lecture ticket. The lecture tickets can be purchased (while stocks last) from our SHOP. Any remaining tickets can be purchased directly at the lecture hall on the days of the fair (while stocks last). If you purchase your lecture ticket via the SHOP, you will be informed once again upon booking that the lecture ticket is ONLY valid in conjunction with a corresponding trade fair admission ticket.
Can I take my bike with me to the exhibition grounds?
Unfortunately, it is not allowed to bring bicycles into the exhibition grounds. At the exit you will find a bicycle stand where you can leave your bike. However, we cannot assume any liability for your bike.
How do I get bulky purchases to the parking lot or the CAMP AREA?
ABENTEUER & ALLRAD is also a sales fair. Many exhibitors therefore offer products that you can take away directly. The range of products includes not only "handy" goods such as clothing or household goods. Even roof tents are sold during ABENTEUER & ALLRAD.
Even if exhibitors repeatedly inform visitors that it is no problem to pick up bulky purchases in the evening after the end of the fair - this is completely false information!
The exhibition grounds are located in a nature reserve - access is therefore strictly regulated. Therefore, we cannot allow any visitors to use the access roads even outside the opening hours of the fair.
Of course we are aware that it is not possible to transport a roof tent, for example, in the shuttle bus. Therefore, we have set up a (chargeable) service. During the opening hours of the fair there is the possibility to have bulky goods brought to the visitor parking lot or the CAMP AREA by our transport shuttle. Please contact our staff in the exhibition office tent at the exhibition exit. Per trip 35,00 € incl. VAT will be charged. The amount must be paid in cash when booking in the exhibition office tent.
Please understand that there may be waiting times during rush hours.
When will ABENTEUER & ALLRAD 2025 take place?
The ABENTEUER & ALLRAD 2025 will take place from 19/06 - 22/06/2025.
Question about the CAMP AREA
How can I get to the CAMP AREA?
Simply follow the signs from the entrance to Bad Kissingen. The entrance to the camp area is "Im Lindes".
Further information can be found on this website under the item CAMP AREA.
There are NO day visitor parking spaces available at the CAMP AREA. If you do not wish to camp, please use the signposted visitor parking lots for parking. In addition, in recent years we have repeatedly received complaints from the operator of the ALDI branch at the CAMP AREA, as there were visitors to the fair in the discounter's parking spaces. This parking lot is exclusively for customers of the store - the operator may have unauthorized parked vehicles towed away.
Can I reserve a place at the CAMP AREA?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to reserve space on the CAMP-AREA. Our staff will be waiting for you at the entrance of the CAMP AREA from Wednesday before the start of the exhibition and will assign a parking space to you directly there. Payment of the parking spaces is only possible in cash.
What are the arrival and departure times for the CAMP AREA?
Arrival is possible from Wednesday, 1 pm.
Please do not arrive earlier, the areas are only released as CAMP AREA on the days of the fair.
On Thursday, Friday and Saturday arrival is possible from 8.00 am to 10.00 pm.
